Golden OPEN Acrylics are professional-quality, slow-drying acrylic paints that offer the versatility of acrylics with an extended working time similar to traditional oil paints. Their exceptionally smooth, buttery consistency allows artists to blend, soften edges and rework colours for longer without the rapid drying associated with conventional acrylics.

Highly pigmented and formulated with a lower viscosity than Golden Heavy Body Acrylics, OPEN Acrylics are particularly suited to portraiture, landscapes, plein air painting, glazing, fine detail and traditional painting techniques.

They can be used on canvas, wood, paper and other properly prepared surfaces, and mixed with compatible Golden acrylic paints and mediums to adjust drying time and handling properties.
